Rage of the Devils

Can you divide your soul into two?
One you claim evil, the demon in you,
You praise the good for your honesty,
Evil being held in trials of misery,
One is ebony, filled with rage and anger,
The other is pure white lined with silver,
In times of depression, the demons rule,
And moments of laughter, a forgotten fool...

Can you tear your thoughts into two?
One you claim hate, a heartbreaking flu,
A disease that kills all your good intention,
Banishing love into a blackhole of confusion,
Creating a struggle between devotion and hate,
To determine the winner of your battle of fate,
In times of darkness, hate flags its victory,
Moments of happiness, a different story...

Can you decide what you are or who?
And answer this question in a minute or two?
While the devils are angry and raging inside,
You feel that your love is about to subside,
Can you decide which side within you?
Would win the war and conquer you too?
While you blame the world for all that it's done,
The truth is it's you before it even began...

So do you still blame which one of the two
Sides of you who decides whatever you do?
Every decision you make has its consequences,
Every step you take is a taking of chances,
Can you divide your soul into two?
And find out later who makes decision for you?
While the devils inside are burning with rage,
It's love who becomes the healer, the sage...
